Welcome to National Society of Black Engineers

At the University of Maryland, Baltimore County our Chapter is dedicated to the NSBE mission of increasing “the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community”.

We do so by hosting weekly General Body Meetings and study halls in addition to internal and collaborative events to encourage all engineering students.  We are known as the Royalty Chapter with official colors of Black and Gold to represent our spirit of resilience and what it takes to acheive an engineering degree at an honors university: True Grit!

General Body Meetings take place every Friday at 12-1pm in Public Policy 105.

Study Hall takes place every Wednesday from 7-9pm in ILSB 233.
